── Battery and Charging Guide ──────────────────────

Expected battery life: In motion sensor mode with one cat using the fountain several times a day, most users get 5–8 days per charge. Continuous flow mode shortens battery life noticeably — use sensor mode for day-to-day operation.

How to recharge: Connect the USB-C cable to the port on the base. A full charge from low takes approximately 2–3 hours. The LCD display shows charging progress and current battery level.

Tip: Build recharging into your weekly cleaning routine — clean the fountain and top off the charge at the same time.

• All materials are BPA-free. If you notice a faint plastic smell when first unboxing, rinse the bowl and reservoir with clean water before the first use — this is normal for new plastic products and clears quickly.
• This fountain is for indoor use. Do not use in rain or wet outdoor conditions.
• The motion sensor works best when the fountain is placed at floor level or at your pet's natural drinking height on a stable, flat surface.
• Some cats take a few days to get used to a new fountain. Placing it beside their current water bowl for the first week helps them adjust at their own pace.
